Mike is the founder of the Demo Club and architect of it's insanity. A true fan of music and a believer in doing what is right for the song!
The eldest son of Mike and a true guitar master. From stirring melodies on acoustic strings to soulful and or metal leads, he will bend strings with the best.
You have to be a little crazy to be that good! Connor, the youngest Jones in the Club is a magnificent drummer, bass and guitar player, but more than that, he hears things on a different plane, so his mixes and masters will leave you wanting to hear more.
When Mike Jones began playing guitar and writing songs nearly 30 years ago, he never considered recording them. It wasn't until his eldest son Forrest formed his first band and wanted to record his first album, that Mike got the production bug. Watching both of his boys write prolifically and continue to get better and better as musicians and writers made Mike want to get them recorded more and more. Time and money were the issues, as they are for many, since the goal was not to land record deals but to share one's songs well written and recorded with friends and family. Thus was born the Boiler Room Demo Club, a cool place for musicians to hang out and record their music with fellow musicians who are not about pumping out sell-out ear candy, but who genuinely appreciate the value of a song; that piece of the songwriter's heart and soul put to melodic prose. If you want your song heard, appreciated and recorded well, join the Club.
